13 Strings Chamber Ansamble, Belgrade

 The chamber ensemble "13 Strings" was founded in 2021. The ensemble performed at festivals such as "Bemus", "International Tribune of Composers" and "KoMa" in Belgrade, "Mokranjčevi dani" in Negotin, "Golden Stairs" in Valjevo and "Guarneri Fest" in Banja Koviljacha, as the official orchestra of the festiva. The chamber ensemble "13 Strings" played at numerous concerts in Serbia, as well as in the Hall of the Macedonian Philharmonic. The performance of the Ensemble "13 Strings" at the Bemus festival in 2021 with the eminent cellist Denis Shapovalov (Russia) was rated by the critics of the newspaper "Politika" as one of the ten best concerts of the year. Important soloists performed with the 13 Strings Ensemble: tenor Zoran Todorović, flutist Ljubiša Jovanović, cellist Denis Šapovalov, soprano Sanja Anastasia and violinist Irina Muresanu (Romania/USA). The artistic director and founder of the Chamber Ensemble "13 Strings" is a cellist and full professor at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, Ph.D. Srđan Sretenović.
